He was born in Montreal, but moved to the country early on to the Richelieu valley caught between river and mountain where the beautiful light made a lasting impression. He displayed a strong interest for painting and drawing at an early age.
Later on, he studied at Concordia University in the design program. Followed years of working as an illustrator, a billboard painter and also as a computer artist and colourist in the publishing business. All this increased his knowledge of composition and use of color.
During that time, he developed his painting technique and took part in many group exhibitions. His work has been exhibited widely in Canada. He is now working full-time as a painter.
His work can be found in numerous private and corporate collections worldwide.
“Painting for me is the expression of the beauty and light that surrounds us and that we so often take for granted.’’
